Pura Vida

We've arrived in paradisio. Turrialba Costa Rica has welcomed us with open arms. Kids have been with their families for two nights now and the experience couldn't be better. Both houses have an fluent English speaker. In Mia and Mercedes' house, one son is an English teacher! Their small casa also has a three month old baby. So cute.

The image with the building is the structure housing the changing rooms and the equipment for the soccer field. Those blank blue walls are being transformed by Mia and Mercedes. The image they are creating is that of San Rafael, the saint that our barrio is named after. The girls are moving quickly.

The boys have various painting jobs including painting benches, playground equipment and TREES. Wynn has been working along side Liam on the playground while Amhaad and Kobe work with Rebecca and me.

We've had time to relax by the river which runs parallel to the soccer field. Taking a break from the work, we visited the local high school where our SKYPE partners attend. The experience is priceless. We are here now and I stole a moment to use the WiFi. Later toady the Tico students will join us for fun and games at the field.

I apologize the post is not as poetic as I would like, but time is limited.

I hope to post again soon.

There are many health benefits of drinking coffee. According to several studies, one of the health benefits of coffee is that people who drink it on a regular basis are 80% less likely to develop Parkinson's disease. And this is not the only benefit; other studies show that drinking coffee can cut the risk of developing gallstones in half and reduces the risk of colon cancer by 25%. There is an 80% less risk of cirrhosis of the liver.
